Ferrari's Top Three Cars

This week, I will be talking about what I think are Ferrari's top three cars. Ferrari is one of the most famous car brands in the the world. Everyone has heard of Ferrari. They make some of the Italy's best cars, and are known for having a rich history of  making the best race cars and street cars. Enzo Ferrari started making his cars in Maranello, Italy in 1943. In this post, I will be talking about what I think are Ferrari's top three cars.

Number 1: Ferrari LaFerrari

The LaFerrari came out in 2013. It was Ferrari's first hybrid hyper car with a 6.3L V12 pairs with their HY-KERS hybrid systems that puts out 960 horsepower and 663 lb of torque. This 9,000 RPM monster sends the car in 2.4 seconds. This car was built to compete against the McLaren P1 and Porsche's 918, both hybrid hyper cars. Only 499 were every built, making this car cost way over one million dollars if you want to buy one. This car is easily the best car Ferrari has ever made. My uncle actually owns many cars and is so grateful to be able to own one. After my first ride in it my jaw dropped. It was blistering fast, I was glued to the seat. The V12 sounded amazing. I, sadly, haven't got to drive it quite yet, but just being in the passenger seat was wild.

Number 2: Ferrari 458 Speciale

This car is easily my favorite Ferrari ever built: the last Ferrari to ever have a naturally aspirated V8. The original 458 Italia came out in in 2010, with the even more powerful Speciale coming out in 2015. The 458 Speciale had 597 horsepower coming from a 4.5L V8, getting it from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. If you put an after market exhaust on it and get the power and especially the noise up. it sounds incredible. If the day comes where I could buy one of these cars, this would have to be in my collection.

Number 3: Ferrari F40

The F40 is one of the most famous, and influential cars ever built. Built back in 1987, the F40 is known for being the best Ferrari's ever built, and some even to go as far as to saying it is the best driving car ever built. Having a 2.9L twin turbocharged V8, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, makes it one of the best cars ever. It is a true race car for the road. This was Enzo Ferrari's last car he ever created. The F40 goes from 0-60 in 3.8 seconds. If you want to get one today, it will cost well over one million dollars, so start saving up.
