Lamborghini's Top Three Cars

Up this week is Lamborghini, probably one of my favorite car brands out there. Every one of their cars has a distinct styling, so different then any other car brand, an aggressive over the top style. Nothing sounds much better then a Lamborghini V12, or maybe a nice Lamborghini V10 that someone twin-turbo charges. Lamborghini was founded back in 1963 by Ferruccio Lamborghini in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy. Their first true super car, the Miura, came out in 1966 and was the fastest production car at the time. Lamborghini would be most famous for their rear engine V12 cars such as the Countach, Diablo, Murcielago, and the current car, the Aventador. Lamborghini would also make the V10 Gallardo and their newest V10, the Huracan. They would also enter the world of SUVs in 2018 with the Urus.

Number 1: Lamborghini Aventador SVJ

I've talked about this car in the past on my blog because it is one of my favorite cars of all time. It is Lamborghini's final model of the ever popular Aventador. With a NA V12 engine, this car sounds insane. Everything about it is insane. The added aero all around the car and the dual exhaust pipe at the rear looks amazing. I really love the two holes added at the front, it gives the car a really mean look, like a raging bull, and the huge wing is awesome. I can go on and on about this car, it's just so beautiful. This car packs a mind blowing 729 horsepower and can go from 0-60 in only 2.5 seconds. If your lucky enough to afford one, it will set you back around $600,000-$700,000. I've talked about this in the past too, in my blog, but I was lucky enough to get behind the wheel of this bull. I was at a car show when the car pulls in. It had to be one of the first SVJs in the country, as they had just came out. It already had an aftermarket exhaust on it, and it was one of the loudest cars I've ever heard. Actually not one of the loudest, the loudest. My ears were ringing for hours. Well here's where it gets cool. Long story short, me and my friend were offered a ride and a seat behind a the wheel for a short ride and it was amazing. I wasn't able to go that fast but you could still fell all the raw power this bull has. It was an unforgettable moment.

Number 2: Lamborghini Murcielago SV

Another V12 Lamborghini, what a surprise. Nothing is more classic and timeless then a Murcielago. Everything about the car is beautiful, classic Lamborghini. And if I'm going to talk about any Murcielago, it has to be the hardcore SV that is packing 661 horsepower, 29 pounds lighter then the normal one, and a massive rear wing. This car is 220 pounds lighter then the original and can go from 0-60 in only 3 seconds. The shape of this car, the black accents on the SV version, the air vent on the side on the car that open up, such an iconic look. Arguably, the Murcielagos V12 sounds even better then the Aventadors V12. Many consider this car to be the best sounding car ever. If you want to get one of these now it will cost you around $500,000.

Number 3: Lamborghini Huracan Performante

In 2014, Lamborghini released the Huracan, a new model of their previous v10 car, the Gallardo. Cheaper then an Aventador, the Huracan was very popular. In 2018, Lamborghini released the higher performance, more track focused version, the Huracan Performante. The Performante puts down 631 horsepower and 433 pound feet of torque pushing this car from 0-60 in an insane 2.3 seconds. This car is just amazing. Everything about it is an upgrade from the normal Huracan. Performance wise, it's great. I love Lamborghini's new forged carbon fiber that can be found everywhere, inside and out. The V10 of this car just sounds perfect in person, such a clean sound, not to loud and crazy, just has the perfect engine on it. I always loved the design of the Huracan, so the Performante is no exception. One of these will cost around $300,000 so its expensive, but worth it.
