Mercedes' Top Three Cars

Mercedes Benz makes some of the best cars in the world. These may not be super exotic cars like Mclaren and Ferrari, but they make some beautiful cars that are great for the everyday driving. If you want luxury, Mercedes has it. If you want luxury that has insane performance, then look at Mercedes AMG. Mercedes has a car for everyone. Mercedes Benz was founded in Stuttgart, Germany in 1929 by Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler. I'm excited to talk about Mercedes today, as they make some of the best cars. The ones on this list are what I plan on buying when I can afford a Mercedes.

Number 1: SLS AMG Black Series 

This car right here is my dream car. I don't know how anyone can look at this car and not say that is is beautiful. The gull wing door are just so cool. The super long front end, all the carbon fiber everywhere, this car is an SLS that Mercedes made even better with better performance and better looks. This car has the amazing 6.2L V8 engine that puts out 622 horsepower. This engine right here is the best engine AMG has ever made. The sound and the power, everything about it is perfect. AMG turned this car into a monster that takes tons of skill to drive. Going 0-60 in 3.2 seconds with all the power to the rear wheels, this car isn't for the faint of heart. This car marked the 5th and final installment of AMGs Black Series cars and is buy far the rarest with only 200 models in America. To get one of these now will cost around $500,000. I hope they day comes where I can own one of these. 

Here's the sound of the amazing 6.2L V8. I was able to experience this engine in my friends C63 AMG from the same time period. Everything about this engine is amazing. A 6.2L V8 C63 is first on my list of sports cars when I can afford it. They run fairly cheap, going on over 10 years old, and it is worth all the fun it brings. 

Number 2: SLR Mclaren 722

Here comes another beautiful car from Mclaren. This GT car was actually born out of a partnership between Mercedes and Mclaren. Another car that I believe to be one of the best looking cars ever made. It has such an iconic design with the long hood, the scissor doors and the front mounted exhaust, it is sure to be a modern classic. Built in England, this car features a 5.5L Supercharged V8 that has 650 Horsepower and goes from 0-60 in 3.6 seconds. It can also hit a blistering top speed of  209 mph. While 1,500 of the normal SLR Mclaren were built, only 150 of the 722 were built. The SLR was built to commemorate legendary racing driver Stirling Moss, who actually just passed away today. A 722 now will cost well over 1 million dollars. The SLR is another car that will hopefully end up in my garage one day. 

Number 3: CLK GTR

The CLK GTR is a true race car, and if you have the 5 million dollars to buy one, it is 100 percent worth the buy. Such an iconic race car and look, it doesn't get much better then this. Built in 1997 to compete in the FIA GT Championships, it has a 6.9L V12 that has 612 HP and manual transmission with paddle shifters. This is more then just a race car however. The inside is outfitted with leather and and even air conditioning so you can took the road legal models out on the road comfortably, if you can call driving a race car on the street comfortable. I love how the front end incorporates the grill of Mercedes from this time. Such an elegant looking race car.
